  • The GPA (grade point average) is calculated by dividing the sum of the total quality points earned, by the total units of credits attempted.

Students who have a current of three point fifty or higher and who have attempted twelve or more credits during the current term will be placed on the deanís list.

  • Students may withdraw from any semester course prior to the end of the twelfth week of the full term, or before 80% of any instructional part of term has passed. Specific withdrawal dates are available by term in the Office of the Registrar or published in the schedule of courses.

  • Students must submit a completed withdrawal form by the withdrawal deadline, or follow the approved electronic process.

  • The refund schedule for all parts of term and summer sessions is determined in proportion to the Full Term schedule.

  • A student may petition for a late withdrawal after the deadline by completing a Late Withdrawal form and submitting substantiating documentation. Petitioning for a late withdrawal does not guarantee that it will be approved.

  • A student must petition for a late withdrawal prior to the end of the following term.

  • Official transcripts of grades earned at Cuyahoga Community College may be requested on-line or through the Office of the Registrar. Each student is entitled to one free student transcript upon graduation. Additional copies may be obtained for a fee.

  • Transcripts, grades, diplomas, or certificates of proficiency are to be withheld of any student who has monetary indebtedness to the college.

  • Unofficial transcripts are available by using myTri-Cspace.
