Refund Frequently Asked Questions
A. Enter your information in the format below:
∑ Student ID
Enter your student ID with a capital S
∑ Last Name
Enter your last name with the first letter capital
and the remaining letters lowercase
∑ Birth Date
Enter with the format 00/00/0000
∑ To enroll, you must be a registered student. Recently enrolled students may need to wait up to 2 weeks for their information to be available in the Refund Product. If you expect a refund before that time period you may email Bursar@tri-c.edu to inquire about your direct deposit login.
A. You need to update your address with Tri-C at the Admission & Records Office or in my Tri-C space. Providing your address to the Refund Adviser Center will not ensure future delivery of refunds to that address.
A. Paper refund checks take up to 14 days to be mailed after the credit is disbursed on the studentís account. Direct Deposits may be deposited and available within one week.
∑ If you do not see a credit balance on your student account, there is nothing to refund at this time.
∑ If youíre waiting for a financial aid check, see Financial Assistance Dates for disbursement schedule. Note that the disbursement date is the beginning of the 1-2 week refund process.
A. Some credits may be ineligible for refunds, or require approval, delaying the processing time of the refund.
The student also may have a mail hold on their account, preventing them from receiving their refund. This is generated when any mailing from Tri-C to the student comes back as undeliverable.
A. First, verify your address and make any needed adjustments online or at Admissions & Registration.
Again, a student can log in to Tri-C's Secure Refund Enrollment Site for their refund to be delivered to their account via Direct Deposit and avoid many potential mailing delays.
A. Refunds arenít processed until two weeks after the beginning of the term. If you wish to have your payment returned before the term begins, you may make an email request to the Bursar@tri-c.edu, or contact the Enrollment Center.
A. Refund checks are not available for pick-up. The checks are printed in large volume at an out of state locationómaking them unavailable for pick-up. Direct Deposit is offered to avoid any delivery delays that may occur via conventional mail.
A. As soon as you change your bank account, log onto Tri-C's Secure Refund Enrollment Site. Go to the ďMy ProfileĒ and in the ďBank Account ProfilesĒ update your banking information. If you need assistance call the Refund Advisor Center at 1-800-239-4211.
A. If the account is inactive it will be returned to our Refund Advisor Center. Update your banking information at Tri-C's Secure Refund Enrollment Site and contact the Refund Advisor Center at 1-800-239-4211 to check the status of your refund.
